GM announces new $4,000 rebate on the Chevy Volt - even more discounts available

General Motors has quietly increased the “cash” discount of the 2013 Chevrolet Volt to $4,000 along with special discounts for different financing options and a new $1,000 “conquest” discount – with the result being a base price for many customers that is effectively $5,000 lower than the stated MSRP of the popular extended range electric vehicle.
