Nissan and FedEx team up to test fleet of electric NV200s in London

Nissan and FedEx, the mail delivery company, have teamed up to test a fleet of Nissan NV200's, which will be zero-emission all-electric vehicles (EV), on the streets of London. The fleet will be used to evaluate how the Nissan NV200 prototype electric vehicles perform in the daily grind of normal traffic.

U.S. and E.U. want quieter cars for different reasons

The European Commission just last Friday adopted a proposal reducing the noise that can legally be produced by cars, vans, buses, coaches, light and heavy trucks by some 25 percent over five years.
