The internet is ripe with talk of how the V8 engines in the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger will soon be replaced by a twin turbocharged V6 and while I believe that we could see a twin turbo V6 in the Dodge muscle cars in the future – I don’t believe for a second that the next generation Challenger or Charger will be without a V8 engine option.

2018 Ford Mustang Could Lose V6, Gain 10-Speed and MagneRide

According to information gathered from Ford’s dealership system and posted on the enthusiast website Mustang6g.com, the 2018 Ford Mustang could lose the V6 engine option while adding the 10-speed automatic transmission and the MagneRide suspension setup from the current Shelby GT350 – while still offering the GT350 and GT350R for those who want a stronger-handling pony car.

Jeep Hellcat Trackhawk Could Debut in April, Deliveries by September

Based on an interview with Jeep CEO Mike Manley, the Hellcat-powered Grand Cherokee Trackhawk could make its formal debut at the 2017 New York International Auto Show in April and the first production units could reach dealerships by September 2017 – meaning that the world’s most powerful SUV could be less than a year away from hitting the streets.
