As the summer for the Northern hemisphere begins, temperatures creep upwards and heatwaves rise from the pavement in a haze. It’s time for hot new vehicles to become available. As June approaches, the race to see who exactly will release the first commercial electric Pick-up truck shifts into high gear as Ford reveals it’s F-150 Lightning, Tesla drives their Cybertruck around, and a Rivian R1T was spotted just today in some of the least-camouflaging spy-shot I’ve ever seen.

Toyota Was Trail-blazing With The Prius; Will It Reinvent The Auto Industry Again?

In 1997, Toyota introduced the first commercially produced hybrid vehicle, the Prius, starting the electrification movement. Toyota has made an impactful statement by introducing a 3-cylinder hydrogen powered internal combustion engine (ICE) to run a race-spec Corolla. While the sound is reminiscent of a gas-guzzler, it is a much ‘greener’ vehicle from an emissions standpoint. Reddit member Jaws12 recently posted that after picking up his brand new Tesla Model Y in Cleveland yesterday, that while on Autopilot his car exited Autopilot after he decided to disable the Auto High Beam function while driving. Only until after he re-enabled the Auto High Beam function could he continue to use Auto Pilot.
