Panasonic To Build New US Battery Gigafactory To Meet Tesla Demand

Tesla's growth for the next few years is by all means significant: this is forcing their suppliers to speed up production if they don't want to be left behind. This is the case of Tesla's main partner, Panasonic, which according to different media sources is looking for land to build a large battery Gigafactory in US territory.

Tesla Giga Berlin To Receive Final Approval This Week

The opening of Giga Berlin, the first Tesla plant in Europe, is getting closer: according to German press agencies, the factory will receive its final approval on Thursday or Friday this week; in fact, everything shows that Tesla is already preparing the opening ceremony itself, which will take place in less than three weeks.

Love Anyway: A Response to Car and Driver's Review of the 2022 Kia Sorento PHEV

Let me be direct, I love Car and Driver because, as a magazine, the writing and editorial skills of its staff are second to none. These folks can write (even better than they can drive, I dare say), and Ezra Dyer who penned a recent review of the 2022 Kia Sorento PHEV, is certainly no exception. But I think he has missed the mark, a little, when it comes to his conclusions in reviewing the Sorento PHEV.

2022 Kia Soul Review: The Choice Is Still Yours

I have decided to review the Kia Soul because I have always been a fan of small, sporty (or quirky) and practical wagons and wagon-like vehicles. Perhaps that is because my first car, a Datsun 710 station wagon which was about as sporty as a raging case of athlete’s foot, imprinted something on me. I later owned a pair of late 1980’s Honda Civic wagons (with mad AWD capability!), a 2007 Honda Fit, a 2011 Nissan LEAF, and I still have a PT Cruiser Hot Wheels. One of those statements is totally false by the way.

Hydrogen Tech Unable To Compete Against Battery-Powered Electric Trucks: Tesla Semi To Rule

According to a study published by the prestigious journal Nature, the rapid advances in the field of batteries and fast charging could cause the hydrogen fuel cell to fall behind not only in the passenger car sector, but also in areas such as heavy-duty transportation, where up until now it seemed – and many claimed – that they would be better than BEV trucks, like the Tesla Semi.

Reasons For Tesla Cybertruck Wearing Camouflage In Last Sighting

When the current prototype of the Tesla Cybertruck was presented back in 2019, it was shown without any type of camouflage or covering; later on it was shown again in public in an open way, driving around New York city and then again on the test tracks at Tesla Gigafactory; but now in the latest video available it appears with camouflage: why would that be?

New U.S. Owner of Kia EV6 Says It Challenges Tesla as the Pinnacle of EVs

Kia’s new EV6 is one of the most exciting EVs on the market and it has only recently gone on sale in the U.S. I managed to get in touch with one of the first U.S. owners of the new EV6 to ask him some questions about Kia’s newest electric vehicle and his experience with it so far.
