Super Bowl Commercial For 2011 Kia Optima Is Launched

So far, we have Volkswagen, Hyundai and Chevrolet but now Kia has joined the mix with its Super Bowl commercials for the 2011 Optima.

With Super Bowl commercials coming out left and right, Kia, the creator of those lovable hamsters, has entered the party. It seems every day a new commercial king is crowned, but this ad certainly gives the others a run for their money.

The 2011 Kia Optima is one sexy car. It has a masculine design to it that its bigger brother, the Hyundai Sonata, could only dream of. It’s because of this design that individuals across the globe, and even the universe, are clamoring to get a hold of it.

The commercial begins by showing a tied up couple and no, not in a naughty way so don’t get your hopes up. As the spot plays on, it becomes clear that a police officer tied them up and took their 2011 Kia Optima. The officer’s joy didn’t last long, as a helicopter swooped in and grabbed it with a strong magnet, sort of like what happened in the epic James Bond film, You Only Live Twice.

The helicopter is delivering the Kia Optima to a luxury yacht, but not so fast mister rich guy. Before the helicopter has a chance to land, the sea god rises up and takes the sedan. Yet, to his dismay, the Kia is once again stolen by aliens who proceed to drive it along their plant’s dusty surface. After a nice dust filled romp on what appears to be Mars, the Kia is zapped into a time portal and sent back to the Mayas, or some other ancient civilization.

Needless to say, after being involved in a time traveling incident and numerous thefts, the resale value of that 2011 Kia Optima might not be what the Mayans are hoping. Nonetheless, this Super Bowl commercial is a real winner.
