2012 Nissan GT-R Egoist

New Photos Released Of 2012 Nissan GT-R Egoist

Today, Nissan has just released new photos of the 2012 GT-R Egoist, a vehicle that will take the GT-R formula and add a sparkle of luxury.

While the 2012 Nissan GT-R has already been tested by numerous magazines and is currently tearing up the road with its insane power numbers and awe-inspiring levels of grip, the new GT-R Egoist is just getting ready for its debut.

While details of the new 2012 GT-R Egoist have yet to be released, a few photos have, and first impressions are brilliant. The vehicle keeps the same GT-R appearance, but it will feature and upgraded interior with higher-quality leather and carbon fiber materials. There will also be a plethora of color choices available to buyers.

The 2012 Nissan GT-R Egoist should pack the same amount of power as the base GT-R, but sadly, the price has yet to be announced. Chances are if one has to ask, they can’t afford it.

The current 2012 Nissan GT-R packs serious punch, as it pumps out 530 horsepower and 448 pound-feet of torque. Add that to a sophisticated launch control system and the GT-R can hit 62 miles per hour, or 100 kilometers per hour, in just 2.9 seconds.

For 2012, the GT-R was given a new front fascia with new LED driving lights that are stuck in the new canards on both sides of the front bumper. These new features will help reduce the drag coefficient from 0.272 to 0.268.

Around the back of the Nissan is a new rear diffuser that will add 10 percent more downforce, while a set of forged Rays wheels cut 6.6 pounds each, for a total of 26 pounds saved. The Nissan GT-R’s wheels will come with two new colors as well; Hyper Blue Black and Titanium, while the car itself will be covered in either Aurora Flare Blue Pearl or Nebula Opal Black, as well as the normal GT-R colors.

The price for the 2012 GT-R is $89,950, while the price for the Egoist has yet to be announced.

This has been a day for unveilings, as Kia released new pictures of the Rio and new specs of the Jeep's new Grand Cherokee SRT8 were shown.
