Lexus LFA Nürburgring Edition To Be Shown In Geneva

The Lexus LFA Nürburgring Edition will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show in April, sporting a monstrous price tag and insane power.

Lexus has been keeping us waiting for some time now, as they refuse to unveil the new LFA with the Nürburgring package. Now, it seems that wait is over, as the automaker’s new supercar will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show in April.

Lexus has been tempting the world with the LFA Nürburgring edition for over a year now and finally that time is now over, as the super fast version of an already fast LFA will be released at the Geneva Motor Show in April. The only question remains is, will it be shown in yellow?

The LFA Nürburgring is a track-focused version of the normal and extremely expensive LFA that took the world by storm, as nobody would have thought a sedated company like Toyota could create something this sensational. Sadly, at $375,000, not many people will ever get to experience Toyota’s wonder child.

The track LFA Nürburgring edition will pack a 4.8-liter V10 with 562 horsepower, an upgrade of around ten ponies. The transmission will be improved as well, as shift times are down by 50 milliseconds to 150. There will also be an aero package that should give the car a more aggressive look. How much will all this cost? Well, if one can’t afford the base LFA, chances are this one will be out of reach as well, as the Nürburgring package will take on $70,000 onto the base price, resulting in a sticker that reads around $450,000 when all is said and done.

The Lexus will only be producing 500 examples of the LFA and only 50 of them will be Nürburgring editions. So, if one is attending the Geneva Motor Show, this might be the only chance to see this ultra-expensive and super fast Lexus LFA Nürburgring Edition.

Lexus will also be showing the new CT 200h, as well as the GS 450h executive sports sedan and the RX 460h and LS 600h.
