Kia's New KV7 Concept To Be Shown At Detroit Auto Show

Apparently, the good folks over at Kia don’t celebrate Christmas because if they did, they sure wouldn’t release a preview of the new KV7, scheduled to be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show, on Christmas Eve.

“At the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Kia will make another dramatic design statement with the world debut of an all-new, convention-challenging concept vehicle named "KV7."

Set to be shown in Detroit, the new KV7 is a crossover vehicle that bears a striking resemblance to the original concept designs for the Soul. With that being said, it seems likely that some sort of production vehicle will come out of this concept.

The vehicle features the normal SUV shape with thin futuristic taillights and some Nissan Cube elements at the rear. Aside from the normal stuff, the KV7 features swivel seating, minimalist dash, wood panel flooring, and gullwing opening rear doors making way for a center-pillarless opening on the passenger side.

The KV7 will be unveiled at 5:15 pm EST at the Detroit auto show, so be sure to set those alarm clocks.
