Audi releases RS3 Sportback with 340 Horsepower

Today, Audi has released its official information on the new RS3 Sportback. This sexy hatch will pack 340 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque, thanks to its turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder motor. That workhorse will be connected to a seven-speed S Tronic dual-clutch transmission.

That motor will crank out 17 psi of boost that will help take the RS3 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.6 seconds. Getting power to the road will be Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system.

To help it get around corners, Audi is using four-link suspension in the rear of the vehicle, and McPherson strut design in the front. The car will sit an inch lower than the S3, due to its coilover springs and dampers.

So far, the chances of this machine coming to the United States are slim, but the European drivers will be in luck. In Germany, this hot Audi RS3 Sportback will cost only 49,900 euros.
