Woman Goes to Buy a Mustang, but Gets a Challenger and Gets The Dealership to Donate for Charity

Every once in a while you get lucky and find the perfect car dealership. One based on integrity and service in every department. That is exactly what I got when I bought my cars at Shively Motors in Shippensburg, PA. Small, hometown dealership with big service. Here is Carol Burch telling her story of how she bought her 2014 Plum Crazy Purple Challenger Shaker and her experience with the dealership.

I bought my first car from Shively Motors in 2010 and got a great deal on a beautiful black Dodge Charger for my son. While I was there, I scoped out the Challengers, but wasn’t quite ready to buy then. In February of 2013 I found myself looking for a muscle car. Checked out several lots and was getting serious about a 5.0 liter Mustang when I decided to stop by Shively on a whim. After an hour with Brad Ramos, who could answer ever single question I had, who took me out on the highway for an awesome and very fast test drive, and showed me around, I was sold on a stunning 2012 v6 Rallye Redline Dodge Challenger. Brad was always available for questions and the service department was beyond outstanding.

I worked for the March of Dimes at that time and asked Shively to become a March for Babies sponsor. I was so excited and pleased when they agreed and gave me a check for $2000 to help save babies. They care about supporting the community they live in and show it! Needless to say, a year and a half later when I decided upgrade to a Hemi, I was back at Shively Motors.

I decided only two days before going on vacation that I wanted a 2014 Plum Crazy Purple Dodge Challenger Shaker in time to take on vacation. They found a fully loaded Challenger that fit my needs in Baltimore. They immediate drove down to get it so they could get it back in time for me to take on vacation. They drew up all the paperwork and had it waiting for me, with my spotlessly clean new car the morning I was leaving on vacation. In 30 minutes I was on the road with my new car.

A few weeks later when my old car, Black Magic was sold, Brad called me and asked me to come down and meet the new owner. Got to take pics together with our cars. It was a lot of fun and again, Shively went above and beyond.

I am so tempted to go back to PA when I buy my next Dodge since I still have a home in Shippensburg. When I walk in, I get hello’s and hugs from staff and I miss them. Best group of people, Best Dodge service anywhere. Mopar or No Car! Thanks Brad. You are the best.
