Now it's the Cayman's turn to drop the flat-six and go to the turbo-four. Today at the Bejing Auto Show, Porsche has unveiled the 2017 718 Cayman lineup.
Take for example Porsche.
As you may have noticed, the first change for the Boxster is the addition of 718. This number is important as it was used on the successor the 550 Spider in 1957.
The German sports car maker has already announced that it will be bringing the Mission E into production towards the end of this decade.
The general word on the street is that Porsche's Mission E can't immediately pose challenge to Tesla's Model S. All manufacturers will be playing catch up for years to come.
