Pinners, as the members of the social media site are known, can create a pinboard named Volvo Joyride along with the sweet Volvo S60 T5 AWD, plus the ultimate destination for their favorite roadtrip, planned stops and roadside attractions, driving outfits, travel songs and whatever else it takes to make their trip awesome. Three winners with the most re-pins, likes and comments will have their dream Volvo Joyride become a reality. The contest opens today and runs through Sept. 26.

Each of the three winners will receive a lease of up to four days of the Volvo S60 T5 AWD, two-nights at a hotel at their destination city, a free $250 gas card, a $250 gift card for sustenance, a $250 clothing retailer gift card plus $50 music card to flesh out your roadtrip soundtrack.

"We are one of the first luxury auto manufacturers to develop a dedicated campaign to reach the ever-growing Pinterest audience," said Linda Gangeri, VCNA's manager, marketing platforms and technologies. "This is another example of our continued efforts to create exciting, content-driven campaigns which allow our consumers to interact with the brand across our digital platforms."

“It's possible for a normally aspirated engine to lose well over 20 percent of its peak power at elevations like this, which can smother the sort of driving engagement that good mountain roads hold almost intrinsically dear,” wrote Chris Paukert for AutoBlog in his August 9 take on the new model.

This makes it an ideal ride for a roadtrip whether you’re cruising Highway 101 on the California coast or crossing Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in world, that takes one along the Continental Divide in Rocky Mountain National Park.

New this year, Volvo's All-Wheel Drive with Instant Traction is available on the award-winning S60 T5, which just happens to be the brand’s top seller in the US. It’s ready to deal with all situations including wet, slippery or completely dry roads, anywhere from the Florida Keys to Seattle's Puget Sound.

Volvo’s All-Wheel Drive can be added to any S60 T5 as a stand-alone option for just $2,000.

So go ahead and pin a tale on a Volvo Joyride in the 2013 S60 T5 AWD and maybe you’ll win your dream roadtrip and take a joy ride in a Volvo on their dime.
