Telematics Detroit 2012 is a gathering of entrepreneurs, innovators and visionaries involved in the development of the new software and apps, which will soon be an innate part of the driving experience.

Product developers, engineers and designers from the who’s who of automotive manufacturers will be on hand including numerous representatives of Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Hyundai, John Deere, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.

Also in attendance will be literally hundreds of officials from app and software companies from around the world. Topics of special keynote and panel discussions include topics such as The Future of the Digital DriveStyle Experience, Keeping up with Consumer Expectations: A New Automotive Era and Take the Connected Experience Beyond the Vehicle.

Beat the Traffic's execs will be on hand to show how their refreshed API allows media companies to seamlessly integrate up-to-the-minute traffic conditions and forecasts into their websites. The service is provided as either a co-branded or white label solution, creating an accurate and thorough view of local travel conditions complete with roadwork and route closures, ambient travel speeds, trip time estimates, along with live camera imaging and traffic alerts.

On the consumer side, Beat the Traffic will also showcase its suite of mobile traffic solutions, including the popular Beat the Traffic 2.0 for the iOS. Beat the Traffic 2.0 lets users create and save routes via MyRoutes, a custom, door-to-door navigation tool that automatically updates via text message or email as road conditions change. They will also highlight Drivee, a new Green driving iPhone app that evaluates performance and environmental impact in terms of fuel usage.

"Transportation technology is advancing at a blistering pace, which is just one reason why the Telematics show is a must-attend event," said Andre Gueziec, CEO of Triangle Software LLC d.b.a. Beat the Traffic. "We're looking forward to being in the automotive capital of the universe and learning from visionaries in the world of telematics and we're tremendously proud to share our newest API and mobile solutions, which are revolutionizing the way our customers think about road travel."
