Revealed yesterday at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week, the Centenario Roadster celebrates the 100th birthday of company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini.

The Centenario Roadster features the same aggressive styling touches as the coupe with an aggressive front end, hexagonal side glass, and a rear wing that can be raised 150 mm (about 5.9 inches) and angled 15-degrees to keep the car grounded. If you're wondering, there is no roof piece to provide protection from weather or additional security. At least the loss of the roof gives onlookers a good view of the interior. A set of carbon-fiber sport seats are upholstered in stitched leather and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Under the aggressive looking skin is a 6.5L V12 engine producing 759 horsepower, making this the most powerful Lamborghini roadster ever built. Redline has been increased to 8,600 rpm. Lamborghini says the Centenario Roadster can reach 62 mph in 2.9 seconds. Keep your foot planted and you'll reach a governed top speed of 217 mph.

The Lamborghini Centenario Roadster will set you back $2.23 million. But all 20 Centenario Roadsters have been sold. So for now, we can just stare and dream about this Lamborgini.
