Aston Martin Racing Competes With An Aggressive Strategy in Bahrain

Aston Martin Racing proudly wins the GTE Am class of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Six Hours of Bahrain. With three Gulf-lubricated Aston Martin Vantages finishing in the podium, Martin Racing picks up the Endurance Trophy for GTE Am Team and the Endurance Trohpy for GTE Am Drivers at the penultimate round of the 2014 championship.

A series which features multiple classes of high end performance automobiles competing in endurance races, brought not only world class racers but a large number of spectators from across the globe on November 15th for one of the most power packed events of the year.

In the Six Hours of Bahrain on November 15th Heinemeier Hansson and were Kristian Poulsen joined by fellow Dane Nicki Thiim and started the six-hour race from the front of the grid, a position the team held until the chequered flag.

Knowing the toll endurance racing can take the tires from the start this team was set up very well and it was a smooth run to the finish for Aston Martin Racing. Ensuring to optimize the tires and fuel-load this team displayed a very impressive show. Poulsen added: “It means a lot to the whole team. To win Le Mans and take the championship-title in the same year is so fantastic. We couldn’t ask for more.”
