Why the new Global Subaru Outback is setting a blistering pace

The 2016 Subaru Outback is ready to make its dealer launch around the globe. Why is Outback such a big hit with buyers?

The global 2015 Subaru Outback is keeping the assembly lines humming in North America and in the home country of Japan. Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI) is reporting new records for overseas production in the U.S. and much of that record is because of the SUV-alternative Outback. It’s wildly popular in the U.S., and is driving sales in North America.

Outback is a global hit with consumers

The Outback is a hit with consumers all over the globe and FHI says January-June 2015 exports from Japan increased year-on-year led by continued strong sales in North America as well as high demand for the new generation 2015 Outback in Europe, Australia and other overseas markets.

FHI also reports, January-June 2015, overseas production at the Lafayette, Indiana plant increased year-on-year 34.6 percent with continued strong sales of the new generation Legacy and Outback. In June alone, U.S. production posted a significant year-on-year increase 73.8 percent with continued high demand for the Legacy and Outback in North America.

Why is Outback so popular?

The 2015 Subaru Outback has been a huge success for the brand and has been recognized by numerous trusted third-party organizations. Consumers are paying attention to what the industry experts are saying about the multi-purpose wagon. The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada’s (AJAC), awarded Outback the Best New SUV under $35K, it’s a 2015 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK (TSP) and TOP SAFETY PICK PLUS (TSP+) award winner, as well as receiving ALG’s and Canadian Black Book’s award for resale value.

The SUV-alternative recreation-purposed Outback

The new Outback features Subaru’s Symmetrical all-wheel-drive system. The Boxer engine design, in combination with their all-wheel-drive technology, provides outstanding driving performance in all weather conditions. This gives an active generation of consumers around the globe, a multi-purpose vehicle with a “go-anywhere” attitude. Subaru owners use the Outback for weekend excursions in the mountains to get away from the crowd. The Outback offers outstanding utility for carrying recreational gear like snowboards, mountain bikes and camping equipment because of their functional crossover designs.

With the new changes coming to the 2016 Subaru Outback, the SUV-alternative vehicle should even be more popular in North America, Australia and Europe in the next 5 month’s. Look for the wagon to help Subaru set even more new records this year.

If they excite over the global sales numbers now, think of their thrills if they released their diesel powered Outback for sale in the US.
