Why BMW M3 is the reason to see new Mission Impossible Rogue Nation [video]

The 2015 BMW M3 could steal the show in the new Mission Impossible “Rogue Nation” movie starring Tom Cruise. How many M3s get destroyed in the movie?

The new Mission Impossible movie Rogue Nation is coming out July 31 starring Tom Cruise, who plays Ethan Hunt. In the new movie, Hunt destroys several of the BMW M3 sedans while filming the stunt scenes. One of the cars that was spared is being displayed at the BMW Press and Fleet Service Center in Garching, just outside of Munich, Germany.

The Silverstone Metallic BMW M3 sedan that goes off backwards and crashes into the ground was likely completely destroyed, but one M3 stunt car that was spared shows body damage and lots of bullet holes obtained during the stunts performed in the movie. Other damages are to the carbon fiber roof and to the front bumper of the M3.

The interior of the M3 was modified specifically for the movie and comes with extra sturdy seat belts for driver and passenger and extra wiring in the console. Check out the BMW M3 and other BMWs in the Rogue Nation trailer.

This is the second time BMW has been involved with a Mission Impossible movie. BMW previously partnered with Paramount on the 2011 successful release of “Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol” where they lent their technological support to the film’s production crew.

The new movie, “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” isn’t the only movie where we see automakers getting involved in the action. The movie Avengers, Age of Ultron features the 2016 Audi R8 and Jurassic World features Mercedes-Benz.

This early movie trailer promises an exciting action thriller with the BMW M3 along with other BMW vehicles like the 2016 Mediterranean Blue BMW 340i and Motorrad S 1000 RR super bike that are also in the new Rogue Nation movie. The M3 could steal the show.
