New Subaru STI Rally car seen jumping snow drifts in rural Maine

The all-new 2015 Subaru WRX STI rally car has been seen testing in rural Maine. Will Higgins be ready with the new STI?

Tucked away in a far corner of rural Maine, Subaru Rally Team USA is getting the new 2015 Subaru WRX STI Rally car ready. On “a secure road” SRT USA took the new STI rally car decked out in camouflage trim and let David Higgins and Craig Drew test the new car in deep snow. The first race is only 10 days away and the team will be seeing plenty of deep snow in the first race of the season.

Vermont SportsCar who builds the Rally cars and Global Rallycross performance cars for the Subaru Rally teams, has had a whole year with the new STI and it should be even better than the 2014 models fans saw in action last year. Can Higgins and Drew get another Rally America Championship title with the all-new 2015 STI?

It should be another successful year for SRT USA as the Vermont SportsCar rally car preparations will take the STI to an even higher level of performance. The 2015 WRX STI made its rally car premiere in the Canadian Rally Championship, and now Higgins and Drew will push their new WRX STI Rally car to new limits here in the U.S. January 30.
