Ferrari celebrates Queen Elizabeth's 60 year reign with Prancing Horses [Video]

Ferrari, an icon of “Made in Italy” craftsmanship across the globe, was at very heart of the Diamond Jubilee Pageant to celebrating 60 years of Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II's reign in the United Kingdom.

The famed supercar manufacturer from Maranello wanted to be present with clients and collectors of their cars from all over the world. People came to Windsor Castle with some of the most beautiful Ferrari vehicles (obviously) from the past and present from the Italian company's range.

It is important to realize that this is of huge importance to the United Kingdom. Ferrari feels it is a source of great pride to be able to have made such a significant contribution to the Diamond Jubilee Pageant celebration.

Thanks to the Ferrari's economic contribution to the pageant, another Italian show of excellence and precision was present at the event: the 4th Regiment of the Carabinieri (Italian military police) on their legendary Carosello Storico horses, a breathtaking show, presenting extraordinary horse conditioning and a demonstration of superb horsemanship.

Respect for traditions, determination, innovation and passion are values shared by the Carabinieri and Ferrari. They are quite simply put two entities of excellence, forming the ideal pair to represent Italy all over the world and at the Jubilee.

The Carosello regiment staged this stunning display of horsemanship during the Diamond Jubilee Pageant. They performed with intricate yet fluid quadrilles, equestrian rides choreographed to music, to showcase the skill and agility of both horses and riders. The program culminated in the Regiment's now-legendary and extremely thrilling final charge.

Italian excellence had the opportunity to pay showcase and pay tribute to one of the most important Monarchs of our time, Queen Elizabeth II.

The Jubilee Pageant took place from May 10th to 13th at the lavish and gorgeous Windsor Castle in Berkshire, England.

“It was a most pleasant evening and I was honored to see the Carabinieri perform the historic Carosello at such a special event, which has delighted the spectators and keeps high the flag of our Country.” declared Ferrari CEO and Chairman Luca di Montezemolo at the end of the festivities.

I am sure Lucia was very proud to represent Ferrari and Italy at the Diamond Jubilee Pageant. Especially along with such a fantastic display of horsemanship along with the Regiment of the Carabinieri on their stunning Carosello Storico horses. I guess this was a good combination since the Ferrari logo is a “Prancing Horse!”
