Win $5,000 from ProCharger for making an awesome video of your car

The ProCharger Video Challenge 2 is open to everyone over the age of 18 – not just those who are currently using a ProCharger supercharger to make more power in their chosen vehicle. ProCharger encourages current ProCharger owners to use the video to show off how they use their ProCharged vehicle or how much power their supercharged cat, boat, truck or motorcycle makes. For those who do not currently have a ProCharger on their vehicle, the Video Challenge #2 gives contestants a chance to put together a video detailing just how they would use the $5,000 cash prize to buy ProCharger components to make insane power.

Videos will be accepted until July 31st, 2011 at which point a panel of esteemed judges will pick the top ten videos with the judging being based on originality, overall appeal and “likelihood to motivate others to purchase a ProCharger supercharger for their vehicle”. Essentially, the judges will pick which video best shows off how awesome a ProCharger does or could make the vehicle(s) featured. After the judges have picked the top ten, there will be a voting period running until August 31st 2011. Based on the internet voting, the 1st through 5th places will be picked with the grand prize winner taking home $5,000, 2nd place winning $1,500, 3rd getting $750, 4th taking $450 and the 5th place video receives $300. The winners will be announced on September 7th, 2011.

Jeff Lacina of ProCharger points out that while the original contest did see some better-produced videos, the winning video featuring the awesome ’56 Chevy presents a great story about an awesome car...which was very popular with the internet voters. When you watch the winning video, make sure that you have your speakers cranked up so that you can hear this blown Chevy announce its presence.
