Stunning Superman Ram 2500 Power Wagon Being Auctioned Off for Charity

The wicked 2013 Ram 2500 Power Wagon shown above was designed and built for the New York City premier of the movie Man of Steel and after that red carpet debut, this gorgeous pickup is being auctioned off for charity – giving a Superman or Ram truck lover a chance to own a unique 1-off collectable.

The Ram brand teamed up with the makers of the 2013 Superman movie Man of Steel and the cool looking 2013 Ram 2500 Power Wagon shown above was displayed at the New York City red carpet debut to showcase that partnership. Superman is one of the toughest men in the world so it makes sense that if he needed a truck, he would drive one of the toughest trucks in the world – like the Power Wagon. That very truck is being auctioned off on the website CharityBuzz.com and hardcore Ram and/or Superman fans have a chance to buy the Man of Steel’s truck while also contributing money to a good cause.

This 2013 Ram 2500 Power Wagon is equipped with all of the standard features that make the Power Wagon one of the most capable trucks on the market today, but to make it a fitting truck for the Man of Steel, this Ram is clad in a serious Superman theme inside and out. On the outside, this Power Wagon wears a unique two tone dark blue and black paint scheme with a faint Superman logo covering both sides of the truck, while red accents on the hood, in the grille and on the tow hooks tie in the red from the Man of Steel’s uniform. The Ram logos on the grille and taillight have been removed to make room for big, chrome Superman logos and smaller versions of those logos are found on the front doors. Finally, the exterior package is completed with a set of black 17 inch alloy wheels wrapped in a set of serious off road tires.

On the inside, Superman’s Power Wagon has an elaborate custom design package with the Superman logo embroidered on the center console cover and the seatbacks while the Man of Steel logo is embossed across the passenger side of the dash. The infotainment system also has a unique Man of Steel backdrop and start up screen.

The proceeds of this Ram Power Wagon auction will go to benefit the LA Family Housing program. LAFH provides emergency, transitional and permanent housing to families in and around Los Angeles while also providing health services, job training, financial literacy education, parenting classes, tutoring sessions for kids and more. The overall goal is to get homeless families under a roof while providing them with the tools to improve their lives and break the homeless cycle.

The appraised value of the Superman themed 2013 Ram 2500 Power Wagon is $112,674, but with 7 days remaining in the auction the current leading bid sits at $47,500.
