New, more complete details on the 2013 SRT Viper revealed

According to Allpar via documents obtained from a source who wished to remain unnamed, the 2013 SRT Viper (base model) exterior color choices include black, adrenaline red and shadow blue pearl with the Viper’s wheel design available with either a polished aluminum or a unique Rattler Matte Painted Aluminum finish. Allpar didn’t mention a yellow choice but considering that the SRT Viper shown recently in new Chrysler Group images wore a bright yellow paint scheme – I expect to see some package with a yellow hue if one isn’t offered as a standard color choice. The yellow exterior paint choice could also turn out to be a late availability option.

Inside, the 2013 SRT Viper will include standard cloth-wrapped race-inspired seats with 6 way power adjustment in black, red or tan. A 9-speaker stereo system is standard. Buyers who want a little more luxury out of their “base” 2013 Viper can add suede and Nappa leather seat coverings or a premium Sabelt Nappa leather surface while those who want a better sound system can opt for either a 12 or 18 speaker stereo setup – both of which come with four subwoofers and a Logic 7 surround sound system. There are also carbon fiber styling groups for both the interior and exterior along with optional 3 point race harness. Buyers can also opt for paint dual stripes that are added before the clear coat, making them more durable and easier to care for over the years.

The 2013 SRT Viper GTS features more exterior paint options, beginning with the black, adrenaline red and shadow blue pearl choices from the standard Viper while adding in white, Stryker red tinted pearl, gunmetal grey, and GTS blue. Buyers can pick between either a 5 or 6 spoke wheel design that are both available with a polished aluminum finish, matte black or gloss black with or without painted interior wheel pockets.

Inside, the 2013 Viper GTS features standard suede and Nappa leather seats in either black, red or tan with standard six way power controls. The Viper GTS also has a Sabelt SRT Laguna Premium leather option that is available in either black or sepia and as is the case with the standard Viper; Viper GTS buyers can option up to a 3-point harness restraint system. The Viper GTS comes with a standard 13 speaker sound system with an optional 18 speaker system that is also available in the standard Viper. Much like the standard Viper, the Viper GTS includes options like a carbon fiber trim package (inside and out), dual racing stripes under the clear coat (available in black, gunmetal grey or silver) and a carbon fiber hood with a central intake port and six venting ports. Notice that the white stripes from the 2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition (shown on the right) are not available as a basic stripe package choice.

Both 2013 SRT Viper models will include a pair of large option packages – the SRT Touring Package and the SRT Track Package.
The SRT Touring Package adds an 8.4 inch touchscreen display featuring a rear backup camera, a Uconnect Media Center, AM/FM/HD/satellite radio with traffic and Travel Link, Bluetooth phone integration and 3D graphics navigation with voice control. Oh, it also comes with a cup holder. The SRT Track Package (an item that we have discussed before) adds lightweight slotted and drilled two piece brake rotors from StopTech, lightweight black wheels wrapped in high performance Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires measuring 275-35ZR-18 in the front and 355-30ZR-19 in back.
