Lebanon Ford Offers a 550hp EcoBoost Mustang for $33k

Lebanon Ford has turned their attention to the EcoBoost Mustang, pulling 550 horsepower from the turbocharged 2.3L 4-cylinder with a total price – including the cost of the car – of just $32,995.

Lebanon Ford of Ohio has been in the news quite a bit over the past year thanks to their shockingly inexpensive high performance packages for the 2015 and newer Ford Mustang GT. This dealership offers a 727 horsepower Mustang GT for $39,997 and for $45,499, there is another Mustang GT package which is capable of 1,200 horsepower when properly configured. These high power, low price Mustang GT packages have hurdled Lebanon Ford into the focus of the performance world and now that they have our attention – they have continued to diversify their efforts.

In fact, Lebanon Ford has just announced their new LFP 550 Mustang, which relies on the 2.3L EcoBoost engine to produce 550 turbocharged horsepower and as is the case with their Mustang GT packages, their turnkey EcoBoost performance package is surprisingly inexpensive.

The LFP 550 Mustang
The LFP 550 Mustang from Lebanon Ford starts off as a 2015+ Ford Mustang EcoBoost model with the turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine. In stock form, this engine does a great job of making the Mustang a fun car to drive with 310 horsepower and 320lb-ft of torque, but Lebanon’s performance shop adds a huge Borg Warner 7670 EFR turbocharger in place of the little stock unit, a larger intercooler and a tuning device to increase the output to 550 horsepower.

This package, including the base price of the new Ford Mustang EcoBoost fastback with the manual transmission, has a dealership price of $32,995. According to the dealership, when their LFP 550 Mustang is fitted with the proper necessary upgrades to make the most use of that power – especially sticky tires – this turbocharged, 4-cylinder pony car can run the quarter mile in the low 11-second range. Mind you, no one is saying that a new EcoBoost Mustang with a big turbo will hit the track and run low 11s, but when this 550 horsepower package is coupled with good tires and a good driver – this is a car that can dig down deep into the 11s.

Also, if you already have a Ford Mustang EcoBoost and you would like for it to have the 550 horsepower Lebanon Ford package, the dealership will add their turbo setup to your car for just $7,699. Realistically, a performance shop can build your EcoBoost Mustang up over 500 horsepower for less than $7,700, but for someone looking to buy a turnkey 4-cylinder Ford Mustang with 550 horsepower – the Lebanon LFP 550 package is an excellent option.
