The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will almost certainly lead to some very cool clothing and apparel over the next year, but Detroit designer Tommey Walker Jr has offered up a new line of shirts reminding us that the new Camaro is taking on the world. Best of all, while the launch of these new shirts coincides a bit with the launch of the 2016 Camaro to dealers around the country, these shirts are in no way generation specific – so these shirts will most certainly prove to be popular with owners of every Camaro over the past 49 years.
Camaro VS Everybody
Designer and entrepreneur Tommey Walker Jr made a name for himself in the fashion world with his popular Detroit VS Everybody clothing brand and his the newest product line focuses on the Chevrolet Camaro. As you can see in the image above, the Camaro VS Everybody shirts are just that simple – with the proud claim stamped clearly across the center of the shirt.
The 2016 Camaro heads into a tough battle with the uber popular 2016 Ford Mustang, but there is no question that the next gen Camaro will be under heavy scrutiny from everyone – just like the 2015 Mustang was when it was introduced. Also, with the Camaro being smaller, lighter and offered with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, the 6th gen muscle car will compete more closely with the likes of the Scion FRS and the Subaru BRZ, while still having the face the Mustang, the Dodge Challenger and the Nissan 370Z.
The Camaro is taking on everybody, and Tommey Walker Jr has teamed up with GM to make sure that everyone knows it.
The Camaro VS Everybody line features the t-shirt shown above or a women’s fitted t-shirt for $34.99. There is a long sleeve version of the t-shirt available for $39.99, a crewneck sweatshirt for $49.99 and a hooded sweatshirt for $54.99. These shirts are available on the Detroit VS Everybody website and while I believe that there might be stores around the Detroit area, it is probably easiest for Camaro fans to get the shirts online.
